Innovations A glance into the future

Innovations in measurement technology have been key to advancing production methods in the process industry in recent years. They are helping to boost the efficiency and productivity of plants and make them safer. Not least, modern measuring instruments help to make production more sustainable, e.g. by making it possible to detect points of high energy consumption or to optimize production processes. Hydrogen transport using containers Green hydrogen plays a key role in the energy transition. In this context, an adequate hydrogen infrastructure with transport away from the pipeline network is a critical component. We assume that applications for supplying hydrogen filling stations and rural areas in Germany in particular will represent a significant market. Endress+Hauser is therefore taking part in a funding project to develop a smart container for the

multimodal logistics of green hydrogen. Endress+Hauser supplies measurement technology for pressure and tem perature, automation for operation and data telemetry, as well as a cloud connection for remote monitoring. Creating new solutions In many other fields too, there are new, creative and, above all, very real solutions that we have co-developed with customers and partners for their sometimes very specific and unique challenges. To give you a preview and maybe even an idea or two, we would like to show you a few examples.
