Energy calculator, single and multi-channel Engycal RH33/RS33, Memograph RSG45

Highlights • Calculations according to IAPWS • Optimized calculation of orifice plates and dynamic pressure probes • Wide range of options for integration into other systems Application The energy calculators are used to record energy flows in systems with saturated steam, superheated steam, water and other liquids. The calculation is based on the measured process values of volume flow, temperature and/or pressure. The energy calculators use the IAPWS-IF97 standard to calculate the mass and energy flow of steam and water. The density and enthalpy of the medium are calculated from the input variables pressure and temperature. An optimized calculation method is integrated for orifices and dynamic pressure probes, which optimizes the overall accuracy. With Engycal, the calculation of cold, where there is a small temperature difference, is made accurate by the possibility of electronically pairing temperature sensors via Callendar–Van Dusen coefficients. Advantages • Save energy costs through transparency and consumption • Calibrated, electronically paired temperature sensors ensure the highest accuracy and enable replacement of individual temperature sensors, even with calibrated instruments in the field (without recalibration) • Meters for billing in line with usage • Detailed data storage of current values and readings, as well as error messages, limit value violations and operating parameter changes • Suitable for connecting and supplying all common volume flow transmitters and temperature measuring points as standard
