High temperatures, high pressure and corrosion need to be considered. The new iTHERM ProfileSens TS901 sensor is not only insulated by mineral insulated powder but also by an internal metal sheath for every single sensor. Even if the outer tube is defective, the thermocouples are not damaged and all measurements continue to be performed without any restrictions.
