Digital helper Smart devices make lots of maintenance tasks much easier. Our industry-compatible, Windows-based tablets from the Field Xpert series (SMT50, SMT70 or SMT77) can be used as a smart multi-tool for mobile plant inspection. The core functions of the Field Xpert software include device parametrization, documentation, and continuous linking of collected data with our cloud-based database Netilion Library . The user software pre-installed on the tablets connects wirelessly with Bluetooth®-capable field devices from Endress+Hauser. Devices by third party manufacturers can be configured via their own drivers.

Mobile working and consistent plant monitoring are no longer a contradiction thanks to smart terminals. With our "Mobile Asset Management" solution package, you can turn your strategy for mobile maintenance into a reality. Our service makes the digital twin of your measuring devices available on mobile devices. This means all measured and device data is also available to mobile personnel around the clock and wherever they are – including in hazardous areas, when using our industry tablets. This process optimization combined with reduced personnel and maintenance costs, makes your asset management even more efficient.

Selection according to environment The most important criteria for selecting the right tablet are the environmental requirements in the plant. If the "mobile helper" is not going to be used in hazardous areas, the cost-effective SMT50 tablet is the best choice. For the harsh "zone 1 environment", such as in refineries, the extremely robust SMT77 is ideal. The SMT70 tablet, as the flagship, has the most computing power. It is also available either as a "non-hazardous" or zone 2 tablet, which is sufficient for most hazardous applications. Link with Netilion The Field Xpert tablets help the user with neat, electronic recording of information for commissioning, diagnostics or device replacement. Thanks to the built-in camera, photo documentation of measuring points or the installation situation is possible. Do you use the Netilion IIoT ecosystem? Field Xpert can be seamlessly integrated! With just one click, photos or documents can be linked with the digital twin of a connected field device. Netilion Library saves all information and documents for every field device in a clearly assignable manner. This service also includes devices from third party manufacturers. Versatile possibilities Netilion offers extensive design options. The platform itself is fed with the "life cycle data" of the field device. This includes the product key, serial number, and even information on whether replacement devices are still available. This function is of interest when a measuring device has to be replaced at the end of its life cycle, but is no longer available due to its age. In this case, the Netilion Analytics module even recommends the right successor product.
